• Oversee process of ongoing Tar Wars presentations and school poster contests.
• Set deadline for schools to submit their winning poster (one poster from each school).
• Plan your state poster contest: set date, secure location, select judges, prepare scoring sheet, solicit prize donations, and arrange for media coverage.

April – May

• Submit nominations for Tar Wars Star Award.
• Conduct state poster contest.
• Submit winning state poster to AAFP Tar Wars.

June – July

• Plan to attend the Tar Wars National Conference.
• Schedule Capitol Hill visits.
• Submit coordinator year-end summary to AAFP Tar Wars.
