- Oversee process of ongoing Tar Wars presentations and school poster contests.
- Set deadline for schools to submit their winning poster (one poster from each school).
- Plan your state poster contest: set date, secure location, select judges, prepare scoring sheet, solicit prize donations, and arrange for media coverage.
April – May
- Submit nominations for Tar Wars Star Award.
- Conduct state poster contest.
- Submit winning state poster to AAFP Tar Wars.
June – July
- Plan to attend the Tar Wars National Conference.
- Schedule Capitol Hill visits.
- Submit coordinator year-end summary to AAFP Tar Wars.
