Parade of Champions -- Monday, July 26
All 2010 Tar Wars National Poster Contest submissions will be on display in recognition of students' tobacco-free efforts. Congratulations are in order to all the state winners on their tobacco-free achievements. Attending students are encouraged to talk about themselves and their poster during the parade of champions. All state winners will receive an award packet that includes a certificate indicating their placement, award ribbon, and a color copy of their poster. The ceremony is followed by a group photograph.

Awards Banquet -- Monday, July 26
At the beginning of the banquet, all students can have their photo taken with their award-winning state poster by a professional photographer. Dinner will be served prior to the awards ceremony. During the ceremony, all students will be recognized and will receive a prize packet including a certificate of appreciation, a ribbon and a special gift for the following:

• Second place
• Third place
• Fourth place
• Honorable mention
• Special recognition

The first place winner will receive the grand prize trip to Disney World valued at $3,000.

Capitol Hill Visit -- Tuesday, July 27
Poster contest winners, families and state coordinators can bring a tobacco-free message directly to your state's congressional leaders. Be sure to schedule your visit and you'll receive preparatory training and color copies of your poster prior to your appointment.
